Glen Beasley and Barbara Beasley run a Brahman cross cattle operation at Harston, west of Chinchilla, which is threatened by plans for a massive CSG waste storage site adjoining their 1,214 hectare cattle property. The waste storage will store over 1.3 million tonnes of toxic salts and other wastes, just 500m from Stockyard Creek which is in the catchment of the Murray-Darling system.
