On Thursday the 16th of November New Hope Coal’s shareholders and executives will to be together in one place, at their annual general meeting.
New Hope Coal are out to destroy some of QLD’s best farming land and our beautiful coastal tourism. They are the owners of the Acland coal mine, and the proposed Colton coal mine. We need to hold them to account for their dirty and destructive operations.
Join Lock the Gate and community objectors in sending a message to New Hope and their shareholders: leave it in the ground!
It will be a fun creative event. We will also be handing out flyers to shareholders entering the AGM on the day about the impacts of New Hope's dirty business dealing and impacts on community members, food and water.
