March with locals on horseback or on foot to deliver a strong message to all political parties.
The Wide Bay Burnett must be protected in legislation from unconventional gasfields and fracking!
Join us in our huge procession of Wide Bay Burnett protectors.
The procession will include decorated boats, horse and carriage, pedestrians and horse riders.
Joining us and leading the horses, with Councilor Denis Chapman, is local legend and internationally renowned horse whisperer, our Man from Susan River, Guy McLean. Guy has written a poem especially for the event.
Local country singer Wal Nielson has written a song about fracking just for the event and will entertain us after the speeches.
There's a great raffle prize that will be drawn on the day and prizes for the prettiest pony.
Join others from across the region and let's ensure the Wide Bay Burnett is properly protected and stays gasfield free.
